The Educational Equality Institute (TEEI) has partnered with Inco Academy. INCO Academy collaborates with TEEI to offer upskilling courses for Ukrainian women in Germany.

The Google IT Support Certificate Program is an upskilling course that allows Ukrainian women to learn multiple skills that can lead to a career as an IT Specialist. Skills include learning the necessary languages and technologies along with the mindset and soft skills needed to excel in IT.

The course is a 16-week program and participants will receive dual certificates to represent their completion of the course. The double credentials will be received from INCO Academy and Google.org. Students will also be allocated a mentor alongside their teacher, which will help enhance their probability of success. Extra services are available to course participants, including support during enrolment, 1:1 coaching, and career counselling. The program includes independent study, collaborative sessions, and workshops to enhance a supportive environment.

The course focus on the following:

  • Fundamentals of networking technologies and protocols, the practice of networking troubleshooting
  • Operating systems 101, software and user management, and hardware configuration
  • Infrastructure services and how to manage and configure servers and computers
  • IT security concepts, tools, and best practices

The participants of this course will not only learn necessary technology skills, but also be given the opportunity to practice them.
