Olesya is a historian and writer. She received her PhD in History from University College London. She has taught the history of East-Central Europe at the University of Cambridge, University College London, the University of East Anglia, and King’s College London. She is now the Director of the Ukrainian Institute London. She is the author of ‘Undetermined’ Ukrainians. Post-War Narratives of the Waffen SS ‘Galicia’ Division.
Until February 24, she hosted the Vikna-Noviny program on the STB TV channel. Currently, she is the host of the “Edyni Novyni” marathon. Co-author of the YouTube channel “Palaye”, the purpose of which is to expose dangerous narratives in society, spread democratic values, primarily women’s rights, and also promote the development of critical thinking among Ukrainians.
Marie is a hands-on operator with experience in building organisations and their teams from the ground up. Having lead Communication, Digital Marketing and Customer Care teams at Samsung Electronics Austria and as Managing Director for independent candidate Irmgard Griss in the Austrian Presidential Electoral Campaign before joining one of Europes leading venture capital funds Speedinvest as Chief Operating Officer. Marie is currently pioneering the recycling movement with leading German based startup Resourcify as Vice President of Growth.
Jane is the co-founder of Kintell.com, an all-in-one video solution for knowledge-sharing activities such as education, mentoring and networking. Before Kintell, Jane was an award-winning MBA educator in strategy at AGSM (UNSW) and a management scholar focusing on knowledge transfer within global organisations. Jane believes that kindness (our heart) and intelligence (our brain) should always work together – hence ‘Kintell’, which stands for ‘Kind Intelligence’.

Georgiy is the author, coauthor, and coeditor of more than twenty volumes on the history of Ukraine in the 19th to 21st centuries, intellectual history, and politics of memory. He was active in the promotion of education reform in Ukraine in the 2000s – 2010s as a Director of Education Program at the International Renaissance Foundation (200-2013) and as a Director of the Institute for Education Development (2014 – 2021). He is an alumnus of the Fulbright Program (1995, 2017) and of the Wilson Center for International Scholars (2003).

Sofia is a Program Director of Lviv BookForum. She works at the Ukrainian Book Institute, as the curator of Ukraine’s national stands at International Book Fairs. She curated Ukraine’s stands at Vilnius Book Fair, Bologna Children Book Fair, London Book Fair, Paris Book Fair, Book Fair in Warsaw, and Prague Book Fair.
She hosted TV shows at the First West Chanel and Suspilne Kultura. From the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Sofia worked for the National then Ukraine Public Broadcasting Company Regional marathon as the Culture News host. Since May 2022, she has been hosting the UPBC Culture special project “Culture Instinct” – the cycle of interviews with cultural figures – about culture and war, history, and society.
Her first book translation of Václav Hrabě’s poetry collection was published in 2018 with Drunken Boat Publishing House. Her translations of Jana Orlová’s and Petr Čichoň’s collections of poems were published by the publishing house Krok in 2019 and 2020.
Awards: Laureate of Metaphor Prize for the translation of Vaclav Hrabie’s poetry selection in 2016; Winner of The 2018 Lviv City best Culture Manager Award; 30 under 30 KyivPost Award in 2019.

Oleksiy joined the CFC team in November, 2003. He specializes in special issues, crisis communications, and reputation management. Prior to joining CFC Big Ideas, Oleksiy Syvak served as a Senior Consultant at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. He is also PhD in Political Science and the author of the first dissertation on the formation and implementation of Ukraine’s foreign policy (defended in 2000). Oleksiy is a graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School (USA), where he obtained his M. A. degree in International Security and Civil-Military Relations. He also holds M.A. and B.A. in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University (Ukraine).
I’m Aidan, a recent graduate living in Portland, Oregon. Until recently, I taught English online for a language school in Kyiv. I’m volunteering with The Educational Equality Institute because I want to help Ukrainians displaced by the Russian invasion continue their education until they are able to return home.
I’m Andrea, I’m a political scientist and a gender specialist. I have a BA in International Relations, as well as a MA in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies. Moreover, I have experience working in the public sector, NGOs, and academia. I love traveling around the world, learning different languages and baking healthy plant-based desserts.
I’m passionate about human rights, education, and social justice. I decided to join TEEI because I strongly believe in the power of education and its positive impact, especially in marginalized communities. As such, I want to contribute to help Ukrianians who have been negatively affected by the war.
Hi, I am Ampol. I have been working as a graphic designer for 12 yrs. I have worked for many non-profit organizations. Now, I’m volunteering here to be a part of helping Ukranians have better lives.
Hey my name is Danijela and I’m a geopolitical analyst with the Red Line think-tank and a global energy company. I hold a masters in international relations and international law and what drives me is simple – the belief that the right to feel safe and the right to education is a fundamental human right for every person, especially stateless people who have been forced out of their homes.
Being an IT engineer by background, I have been doing different programming and software developments in the past, mainly in academic environment. I have joined TEEI in May 2022 and am now involved in the web development assignments. TEEI truly serves for a noble cause and I am glad to be part of this winning team.
You can call me ‘Li Phone’ if it’s difficult to pronounce. Born and raised as a third culture individual, graduating from B.Sc. Genetics at the University of Leeds in the UK. Curiosity is the cause of my mild addiction to learning, volunteering, exploring and working ;D Last year, stories about refugees made me empathize with unfortunate people, who had to flee from their countries. TEEI provides a channel for me to support people in order for them to get the guidance and education they need to settle down in a new country.
My name is May, I am from Egypt. I have studied Political Science at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science [FEPS], Cairo University. I have a PhD in Political Science. I have worked as Chief Editor at the Egyptian Radio and TV Union, News Announcer at Radio Misr, Researcher at the Ministry of International Relations in Egypt, and Teaching Assistant at FEPS. My working experience gave me the chance to communicate with different people of different backgrounds as well as different projects- addressed to Egypt by the UN, IMF and WB- most importantly was the educational projects. While working on my Masters that was about The Cultural Development in Malaysia, I realized the crucial role of education in raising peoples’ minds and lives.

Annka is originally from Bangladesh where she has completed bachelor in electrical engineering. For the past 6 years she has been living in Oslo, Norway. She Completed master’s in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from UiO. Before moving to Norway, she worked as a mathematics teacher for children 9-16 years old.
She has a passion and love for working within education. She has joined as a volunteer at TEEI because of its mission of promoting education specially to marginalized communities. My name is Elizabeth and I am from the UK, currently based in Leeds. I have a degree in BA Creative Writing and since graduating have undertaken two marketing internships for Danish AI companies. I currently work as a business proposal writer. I have volunteered in the Philippines and South Africa on environmental and education programmes. I am volunteering with the TEEI to support those impacted by the conflict in Ukraine and play my part as an ambassador for peace.
My name is Iman. I am originally Lebanese but currently living in Berlin, Germany. I hold a L.L.M in International Human rights and humanitarian law and a background in comparative law. My name is Lisa, I’m a French student specialized in International and European Law. I am completing my third year of Bachelor’s degree at the Law Faculty in Oslo. I’m currently working as a School assistant at the French High-School René Cassin of Oslo. I’m volunteering with the Educational Equality Institute because I want to engage in the promotion of human rights alongside NGOs, and being part of this association gives me the opportunity to do so by helping Ukrainians continuing their education.
My name is Oksana. I come from Ukraine and currently live in Oslo. I have a master degree in culture studies. I’ve been working as a journalist for 15 years on TV. It gave me a lot of experience in communicating with people from different spheres of life, interviewing, writing scripts, and news reports. I am a pedagogist and psychologist from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have extensive professional experience in project management in international organizations implementing projects in conflict-affected areas to empower and provide socio-economic support to vulnerable groups such as children, youth, and women. I first volunteered in the Philippine Red Cross and acted as the team leader for the Emergency and Disaster Response Unit for 5 years. My name is Bernadett Dioszegi and I am someone who crafts her strategic vision into well-engaging content materials. I have studied International Business in Finland and as a light entrepreneur, I had been serving domestic and international companies from the Norwegian market to the Hungarian landscape. As a Social Media Manager of TEEI, my aim is to build an online community to increase sales and grow brand awareness, supported by a passionate profession and interest since early 2017. I am a proposal and project manager research and innovation projects under the Horizon Europe funding programme. I am volunteering because I want to find impactful ways to help those suffering from inequality and I believe that education is the most effective way to do it. TEEI has proven to be efficient in urgent situations and I would like to support expanding the support TEEI provides to many more who need it.
My name is Gosia and I currently live in Poznań, Poland. I have a strong professional background in education and e-learning as I worked for a publishing house for over ten years, both in an Editor role and as Project/ People Manager. Currently I’m a Project Manager in a pharmaceutical company. I strongly believe that having access to education is one of the basic human rights – that’s why I decided to join TEEI. Karen comes from Uganda and Rwanda, and currently lives in Oslo and Berlin. She has a Master’s degree in Global Development. She is a member of the Women in Global Health Network and has worked as a consultant with the Population Center at John Hopkins University, conducting a study on their Global coaching programs. Karen currently serves on an advisory body for an EU project called Equals EU under the Young People’s Reference Group.
Hi, I’m Mariana, a Brazilian passionate about nature and cooking. I am currently living in Norway and learning a lot about dealing with cold weather.
