TEEI is a nonprofit in Norway and the United States. We run learning programmes for adults, most of them people from Ukraine and women rebuilding a career after moving. Your employees are the ones on the other side of those conversations.

It is free, with no licence and no limit on people: we are a nonprofit, and we would rather have your people in the programmes than in a procurement cycle.

Do employees need teaching experience?

For one-to-one TEEI Language practice, no teaching qualification is required. Employees contribute as conversation partners in a language they speak confidently.

Mentoring draws on relevant professional experience. Skills Academy hosts bring expertise in the subject they teach or discuss.

How much time do employees need?

A TEEI Language or TEEI Mentorship session lasts 30, 45 or 60 minutes, once or at the same time every week. Volunteers open the hours they can give, and nobody sets them a quota.

Skills Academy sessions include preparation as well as delivery. We agree the format and scope with the host.

Yes. Sessions take place online, so employees can contribute from different locations.

They choose opportunities that fit their language, expertise and availability. Programme onboarding explains the practical requirements for their role.

Who will our employees work with?

Employees work with adult learners pursuing language, skills and career goals. Opportunities include TEEI's programmes for Ukrainians and women developing their education and careers.

Learners in TEEI Language book a volunteer directly. In TEEI Mentorship, mentees look for a mentor by career field and expertise, then request or book a session.

Can we organise volunteering around a particular community?

Yes. TEEI can work with your company on a programme for a specific community, location or objective.

Together, we define the activities, employee roles and delivery plan. TEEI reviews and approves the programme before launch.

What does our company have to buy?

Nothing. Company access, employee participation and CSR Cockpit reporting are included.

TEEI is a nonprofit. Your team contributes time and expertise, not a participation fee. No donation is required.
