Name, job title, city, phone number with the country code, e‑mail. Date of birth and marital status are usually not needed.

Photo

It depends on the country. In Poland and Germany a photo is often added, in the UK and Ireland usually not.

Two or three sentences

What you can do and what work you are looking for. Write the profile for the vacancy in front of you.

Most recent first

Month and year on every line. In the bullet points, write what you did, not only what the job included.

A gap in the dates

One line on what you did in that time. You can say more at the interview.

One page

Two if you have a lot of experience, no more.

Degree

The name of the institution in the original language and in translation. The ENIC-NARIC centre in the country where you live explains how to get a degree recognised: enic-naric.net.

Language level

On the European scale, from A1 to C2. That way it is understood in any country in Europe.

Words from the vacancy

If the vacancy says “Excel”, write “Excel”. Only what you can really do.

Consent to data processing

In Poland this line is often added at the end of a CV (klauzula RODO). In other countries it is usually left out.

Example. The person and the companies are invented.

Choose 30, 45 or 60 minutes and write briefly what you want to talk about. Some times are confirmed by the platform straight away, others by the mentor.

If the mentor does not reply

A request never hangs.

The request shows until when the mentor can reply. Without a reply it closes by itself, and you choose another mentor or another time.

At first you can have one open request and two scheduled sessions. After your first completed session the platform allows more.
