Fundraising Manager Volunteer

Volunteering your skills as a Fundraising Manager is a chance to have a real impact on people’s lives while gaining valuable experience and knowledge.

We are looking for a brilliant Volunteer Fundraising Manager who can take on the following tasks:

Role Scope

• Manage the day-to-day activities of the fundraising team and act as the principle point of contact for the team
• Oversight of the fundraising boards in monday.com and ensure the fundraising team work to the correct scope
• Delegate tasks to team members
• Motivate team members, give advice and provide direction
• Develop and implement HNWI, foundations, institution, individual donor, crowdfunding fundraising
• Assess opportunities and set priorities among several fundraising channels
• Develop respective high value donation strategies and plans
• Manage team absence and level of engagement
• Escalate risks and concerns in good time

Who Are You

• You have experience of all aspects of fundraising
• You have experience as a team leader or supervisor or would like to develop these skills
• You are self-motivated and understand that building relationships is key
• Your communication and interpersonal skills are well developed and you inspire trust and confidence in others
• You are able to build rapport quickly
• You have a strong drive to move tasks and projects forward to completion
• You care about accountability
• You strive to improve everything within your remit and are proactive in your suggestions for improvements

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior fundraising experience
• Can-do-attitude and eager to learn new things
• Efficient, proactive, and a hands-on approach
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Advanced English language
• Understanding of team leadership

Other requirements

• Minimum 6 hours of commitment per week
• Interest in humanitarian efforts
• Previous experience working with other NGOs is highly regarded but not a prerequisite.
