Kharkiv I. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts is 105 years old, and was named after I.P. Kotlyarevskyi. It is one of the outstanding and oldest universities in Ukraine, and serves as a creative, scientific, and methodical center of music and theater education in the Slobozhan region.

For 100 years, the university has trained thousands of musical and theatrical art specialists, including recognized performers, teachers, and scientists.

The university has always believed in an individual approach and providing the opportunity for growth. This is provided by offering particular types of classes that ensure the formation of a unique artistic personality when training specialists.

Since the war broke out, the university building has been hit twice by heavy rockets and air strikes, damaging the university interior. The roof of the university is in critical condition. Not only that, but majority of their musical instruments have been severely damaged.

The Educational Equality Institute has decided to provide essential assistance to Kharkiv I. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts through our Програма підтримки університету. The support program provides fundraising aid to rebuild the building, the replacement of musical instruments, and the resuming of its educational activities by admitting new students for the upcoming year.
