In February 2022, The Educational Equality Institute (TEEI) launched Together for Ukraine in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Together for Ukraine offers a range of free educational programs for displaced Ukrainians, with the goal of educating 100,000 individuals.
By providing access to quality education, language training, skills development, mentorship, and employment opportunities, the Institute aims to support those affected by the war. The Institute firmly believes that education, upskilling, and employment are among the most impactful ways to support and help the people of Ukraine.
Free Educational Programs for Ukrainians
Buddy Program
Our Buddy Program connects Ukrainians with local buddies for friendship and support.
Language Courses
TEEI has offered free Language Courses since the beginning of the war. Over 850 students have already graduated from their classes.
Upskilling Program
From orientation boot camps to specialized training, TEEI’s Upskilling Program provides intensive training opportunities in key skills at any level, from beginner to advanced, to boost the student’s employability immediately upon graduation.
Mentorship Program
The Educational Equality Institute’s Mentorship Program supports Ukrainian refugees through guidance and professional development.
Language Connect for Ukraine
Ukrainians in need of learning new languages can connect with tutors and book one-to-one video sessions. TEEI provides this service in partnership with Kintell.
