Bogdan Khmelnytskyi Melitopol State Pedagogical University has educated students since 1923. The university offers bachelor’s degrees in 20 different areas along with 36 specialty options which can lead students to a master’s degree or to become a specialist in their field.

The university includes educational and scientific divisions like the Research Institute of Biodiversity of Aquatic and Terrestrial Ecosystems of Ukraine, ten scientific laboratories, nine scientific and educational centres, an educational and scientific base of Bogatyr, and Stepanov educational and scientific field complex, and agrobiological complex.

The university prepares specialists in the following faculties:
Faculty of Information Technology, Mathematics, and Economics
Philological Faculty
Educational and scientific institute of social-pedagogical and artistic education
Faculty of Natural Geography
The Faculty of Chemistry and Biology

Due to the war in Ukraine, Bogdan Khmelnytskyi Melitopol State Pedagogical University was forced to relocate from Melitopol to Zaporizhzhya. In cooperation with our partners, the Educational Equality Institute provides crucial support to the university needed to continue their work and admit new students.
