Recruitment Volunteer

You’ll be working with the organisation to identify amazing volunteer candidates with the right skills:

Role Scope

  • Engage in hiring activities, (Full Cycle Recruiting) including working with Team Leads to support their need for new/replacement of volunteers
  • Managing job vacancies from start to finish
  • Screening, interviewing and shortlisting candidates
  • Identifying and implementing efficient and effective strategies to broaden network reach
  • Assisting with job posting and advertising processes
  • Interview and analyze candidates for hiring managers, refer candidates to hiring managers and ensure consistency in the interviewing process
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the overall project
  • Remain compliant with hiring procedures

Who Are You

  • You have experience of all aspects of recruitment
  • You understand (or are quick to learn) what it takes to operate in an NGO and apply a flexible approach to ensure results
  • You are self-motivated and understand that building relationships is key
  • Your communication and interpersonal skills are well developed and you inspire trust and confidence in others
  • You are able to build rapport quickly
  • You have a strong drive to move tasks and projects forward to completion
  • You care about accountability
  • You strive to improve everything within your remit and are proactive in your suggestions for improvements
  • Demonstrate understanding of hiring due diligence processes

Qualifications and Experience

  • Solid recruitment experience
  • Can-do-attitude and eager to learn new things
  • Efficient, proactive, and a hands-on approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced English language
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
