itslearning has been translated into Ukrainian

May 10, 2022

Bergen, May 3, 2022 – As a result of the war in Ukraine, itslearning has been translated into Ukrainian. All students and teachers can now easily choose Ukrainian as their default language in their platform profile settings. The translation has been developed in partnership with the Berlin school district in Germany, in response to a critical need as they now receive a large number of Ukrainian school children.

We have not seen the same influx of refugees in Norway as in, for example, Poland and Germany, but now Ukrainian children in Norwegian schools can also get itslearning in Ukrainian. This can facilitate the transition to a new everyday school life, and make it easier for schools to share important information with pupils in their own mother tongue. “
