Meet Our Team

I’m Aidan, a recent graduate living in Portland, Oregon. Until recently, I taught English online for a language school in Kyiv. I’m volunteering with The Educational Equality Institute because I want to help Ukrainians displaced by the Russian invasion continue their education until they are able to return home.

I’m Andrea, I’m a political scientist and a gender specialist. I have a BA in International Relations, as well as a MA in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies. Moreover, I have experience working in the public sector, NGOs, and academia. I love traveling around the world, learning different languages and baking healthy plant-based desserts.
I’m passionate about human rights, education, and social justice. I decided to join TEEI because I strongly believe in the power of education and its positive impact, especially in marginalized communities. As such, I want to contribute to help Ukrianians who have been negatively affected by the war.

Hi, I am Ampol. I have been working as a graphic designer for 12 yrs. I have worked for many non-profit organizations. Now, I’m volunteering here to be a part of helping Ukranians have better lives.

Hey my name is Danijela and I’m a geopolitical analyst with the Red Line think-tank and a global energy company. I hold a masters in international relations and international law and what drives me is simple – the belief that the right to feel safe and the right to education is a fundamental human right for every person, especially stateless people who have been forced out of their homes.

Being an IT engineer by background, I have been doing different programming and software developments in the past, mainly in academic environment. I have joined TEEI in May 2022 and am now involved in the web development assignments. TEEI truly serves for a noble cause and I am glad to be part of this winning team.

You can call me ‘Li Phone’ if it’s difficult to pronounce. Born and raised as a third culture individual, graduating from B.Sc. Genetics at the University of Leeds in the UK. Curiosity is the cause of my mild addiction to learning, volunteering, exploring and working ;D Last year, stories about refugees made me empathize with unfortunate people, who had to flee from their countries. TEEI provides a channel for me to support people in order for them to get the guidance and education they need to settle down in a new country.

My name is May, I am from Egypt. I have studied Political Science at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science [FEPS], Cairo University. I have a PhD in Political Science. I have worked as Chief Editor at the Egyptian Radio and TV Union, News Announcer at Radio Misr, Researcher at the Ministry of International Relations in Egypt, and Teaching Assistant at FEPS. My working experience gave me the chance to communicate with different people of different backgrounds as well as different projects- addressed to Egypt by the UN, IMF and WB- most importantly was the educational projects. While working on my Masters that was about The Cultural Development in Malaysia, I realized the crucial role of education in raising peoples’ minds and lives.

I am 24 years old and I’m half Italian half Venezuelan But I’m currently living in Brussels, Belgium. I studied International Relations, Conflict and Development between Italy and Belgium. Now I’m still searching for my dream job and meanwhile doing some volunteer experience not only to collaborate somehow to create a change, but also to discover what my real passion is. I’m mainly focus on Project Management and event coordination in the field of social and justice impact.

I have been and will always be fascinated by volunteerism and specifically by the subject of migrants and refugees. At TEEI, I am part of the grant writing team.

My name is Aleksandra, I am UX/UI Designer. Originally from Kharkiv. For the last six years, I’ve been living in Norway.
Communication is part of our lives. Knowing several languages connects people and brings them more opportunities.
I am lucky to be part of this team and help Ukrainians go through this challenging stage of their lives.

Annka is originally from Bangladesh where she has completed bachelor in electrical engineering. For the past 6 years she has been living in Oslo, Norway. She  Completed master’s in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from UiO. Before moving to Norway, she worked as a mathematics teacher for children 9-16 years old.
She has a passion and love for working within education. She has joined as a volunteer at TEEI because of its mission of promoting education specially to marginalized communities. She will be supporting the business development team. She believes working with TEEI will be great for networking, learning, supporting and making friends.

My name is Elizabeth and I am from the UK, currently based in Leeds. I have a degree in BA Creative Writing and since graduating have undertaken two marketing internships for Danish AI companies. I currently work as a business proposal writer. I have volunteered in the Philippines and South Africa on environmental and education programmes. I am volunteering with the TEEI to support those impacted by the conflict in Ukraine and play my part as an ambassador for peace.

My name is Iman. I am originally Lebanese but currently living in Berlin, Germany. I hold a L.L.M in International Human rights and humanitarian law and a background in comparative law. I have decided to join TEEI because I believe in the power of a community especially in times of war and future uncertainty.

My name is Lisa, I’m a French student specialized in International and European Law. I am completing my third year of Bachelor’s degree at the Law Faculty in Oslo. I’m currently working as a School assistant at the French High-School René Cassin of Oslo. I’m volunteering with the Educational Equality Institute because I want to engage in the promotion of human rights alongside NGOs, and being part of this association gives me the opportunity to do so by helping Ukrainians continuing their education.

My name is Oksana. I come from Ukraine and currently live in Oslo. I have a master degree in culture studies. I’ve been working as a journalist for 15 years on TV. It gave me a lot of experience in communicating with people from different spheres of life, interviewing, writing scripts, and news reports. I believe that good education is a key to development, peace and prosperity around the world.

I am a pedagogist and psychologist from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have extensive professional experience in project management in international organizations implementing projects in conflict-affected areas to empower and provide socio-economic support to vulnerable groups such as children, youth, and women. I have a wide range of experience in HR, research, marketing, project management, and a great passion for child psychology. Volunteering for TEEI has given me the chance to support Ukrainian people in these most horrific and challenging times. And I am grateful to TEEI for that.

Hi, I am Neha, I am passionate about learning and growing not as an individual but as a society together. I have my expertise in Recruitment and Human Resource Learning and Development. My motivation in my life is my family, especially my little girl, who really thinks that I have a magic wand as a solution for all that she needs. This bond that  I share with my girl makes me more emphatic about the society we live in. And I believe even if a small contribution of mine can bring a little change in the world, I have every reason to say that my life is worth it. I look forward to being a part of this beautiful journey with TEEI, to bring back Ukrainians to their mainstream of life.

My name is Allan, an Academic Administrator and a part-time Strategic HR Management & Development Consultant from the Philippines. I’m passionate towards health and social development. I first volunteered in the Philippine Red Cross and acted as the team leader for the Emergency and Disaster Response Unit for 5 years. At present, I am also a part of a non-government and non-profitable international organization, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

My name is Bernadett Dioszegi and I am someone who crafts her strategic vision into well-engaging content materials. I have studied International Business in Finland and as a light entrepreneur, I had been serving domestic and international companies from the Norwegian market to the Hungarian landscape. As a Social Media Manager of TEEI, my aim is to build an online community to increase sales and grow brand awareness, supported by a passionate profession and interest since early 2017. Besides connecting with various audiences with delicate content through social media channels, my aim is to assemble a social media strategy for delicate interactions, serve customers on a deeper level, and connect with networks to enhance collaboration.

My name is Genevieve, I am an undergraduate student in London studying Russian and Ukrainian languages. I am so happy to be using the skills I have learnt so far in my degree to help communicate with students and teachers for TEEI.

I am a cultural worker in the Philippines. My passion lies in promoting arts and culture which plays an important role in fostering holistic education, providing economic opportunities, and in influencing social health and well-being. I am happy to join TEEI because it serves as an avenue to support our Ukrainian brothers and sisters in various ways.

My name is María, I come from Spain, Madrid. I have studied both pedagogy and Primary Education, as well as Neuropsychology and education. I am currently swifting my career towards international education policies, and might enroll next year in the OsloMet Master’s on international education. I am profoundly moved by the importance of education and how it impacts the world.

Hi! My name is Oleh. I’m an Artificial Intelligence student at the University of Leeds, currently collaborating with TEEI to support the affected Ukrainians and peers in these difficult times. I believe in changing the world by setting an example, and intend to leave my very own footprint in making it a better, more tolerable place. Hi! I’m Romina, I’m thrilled to belong to an NGO like TEEI, since I’ve always felt the purpose of contributing to other people’s lifes and making the world better. I’m a psychologist, with a master’s in HR. I’m pleased to collaborate as a Recruiter, and I have more than 8 years experience as a psychologist focused on well-being in organizations, so hoping to grow with this NGO day by day!
