Search and Google Ads Volunteer

You help the right people find us on Google, with the search advertising Google gives nonprofits.

Communications · Remote · A few hours a week

This role supports TEEI's communications work.

What you would do

TEEI has a Google Ad Grant: search advertising Google gives nonprofits at no cost. It is worth a lot only when the ads reach people looking for exactly what we offer.

  • Improve the keywords, ads and landing pages for one campaign at a time.
  • Read what people actually searched, and cut the searches that waste the grant.
  • Keep the account inside the grant's rules.
  • Report what changed, in clicks, sign-ups and cost per sign-up.

Who we are looking for

  • You have run Google Ads or SEO, professionally or for your own projects.
  • You can read a search terms report and know what to cut.
  • You change one thing at a time and measure it.

What you get

A real account with a real budget and your own decisions in it. The reference says what you changed and what it did.

After you apply

Someone replies by email. Going further means read access first, and one campaign to propose changes to.
