THE FIELDS
Mentees choose a mentor by field.
The programme runs across eight career fields. Mentees look for a mentor already working in the one they are trying to enter, so the guidance comes from inside it rather than about it.
Software engineers, data analysts, product managers, UX designers, accountants, consultants, digital marketers, content strategists, designers and copywriters all mentor here.
The hour that restarts a career.
A career is not remade by generic advice. It can begin to move when a professional sees their own experience through the eyes of someone who understands the world they are trying to enter.

Can I mentor refugees online with TEEI?
Yes. Mentees are professionals rebuilding a career after war and displacement, especially Ukrainians, and every session happens online by video.
Do I need to live in Ukraine or Norway?
No. Mentoring happens one to one by video, and there is no requirement to live in Ukraine or Norway.
How much time does mentoring take?
There is no minimum. You set your availability and choose how many sessions you take.
Do I need mentor training or teaching experience?
No. You need professional experience in your field and to be 18 or older. TEEI gives you onboarding and role guidance.
Is mentoring with TEEI paid?
No. It is unpaid volunteering, and it is free to join.
How are mentors checked?
You sign up, connect LinkedIn and complete your mentor profile, and a person at TEEI reviews every application before mentees can book you. LinkedIn confirms the account, not the person’s identity.
How do mentees find me?
Mentees browse approved mentors by field and send a request. You decide which requests to accept, or turn on instant booking. How often you are asked depends on demand for your field and the times you open.
What do mentoring sessions cover?
Goals and next steps, CV and LinkedIn reviews, interview practice, and how hiring and workplace culture work in your field.
What is not expected of me?
You are not expected to give financial help, act as a therapist or promise anyone a job. Keep communication within the programme channels where you can.
When can I start?
Once your application is approved, you publish the times mentees can book. You can check your application status on the platform.
