Volunteer · Skills Academy
The job you already do is the course she cannot find.
Analyst, developer, designer, project manager: somewhere a displaced professional is retraining toward your field. Teach one hour of it, live, in the shape that fits your week.
What you'd do
Teach live, from the work you did this week.
An hour at a time, on TEEI's own platform, to people retraining toward your field. No lesson plans, no grading: the format carries the structure.
One lit hour. The rest of the week stays yours.
What you know
You already wrote the course.
No lesson plans · Your field, spoken out loud
The shapes
Four shapes of the same hour.
Every live format on Skills Academy is one professional and the people learning her field. You choose the shape; the shape carries the structure.
Once. That is real too.
One expert, one hour, live questions from people training toward your field. The smallest real commitment on this page.
The same faces, week after week.
A small group, live on video, building your subject across a season. You watch the same people get visibly better.
A portfolio review. An interview rehearsal.
One knowledge session, once: a small group on a topic from your field, or one learner and the thing she cannot practise alone, her CV in your industry, the interview for the job she wants.
Hours you set, between the two of you.
The same professional, across months of her rebuild: the long version of handing a career over the fence. Big enough to be its own programme: TEEI Mentorship.
You pick the shape when you apply, and change it any time. There is no fixed number of hours here: the shape you choose is the commitment you make.
Apply to teach an hour →Rather write than appear? Course material has a seat too: curriculum creators build what the hours teach.
The other side of the hour
“This is my place of power.”
A Skills Academy learner, about her desk. Ukraine · Quoted with consent · Press play to hear her
She studies through the power cuts. Displaced professionals, most of them women, retraining into data, code, design, and business: your field, from zero footing in a new country. What is missing is you.
“The DataCamp licence led to a data analyst certification, and the certification led to two interviews.”

The proof
exercises completed by TEEI learners on the self-paced track: the studying is already happening, at scale, every night.

The room
You teach the hour. We build the rest.
Skills Academy runs on the platform TEEI built for its language and mentoring programmes. You bring the field; everything around the hour is handled.
How it starts
Four steps, one of them ours.
Apply
About five minutes: import your profile from LinkedIn or type it in. Your field, your experience, the shapes that fit.
A person reads it
Not a filter. A real review, with an answer inside three to five working days.
Pick your shape
Webinar, class, session, or mentorship, and your first date. Change the shape whenever your life changes.
The room opens
Your field, live, to the people who need exactly it. A coordinator is in the wings for your first hour.
Before you ask
Questions professionals ask.
Do I need teaching experience?
No. You need a field and the willingness to speak it out loud. The formats carry the structure: a webinar has a host, a class has a rhythm, a session has one clear question. Nobody hands you a blank classroom.
What could I teach?
Web development, data science, cybersecurity, UX, marketing, product management, HR, cloud, AI and machine learning, career development, or the thing only you would think to offer. The application has a field for exactly that.
What platform does it run on?
TEEI's own. The same video rooms that carry our language and mentoring programmes carry Skills Academy sessions. For you it is a browser link; there is nothing to install and no account to buy.
Can my company send a team?
Yes. Companies place their specialists as teachers through skill volunteering: one page for that is here.
What if I can only do it once?
Then teach one webinar. One hour, once, is a real contribution here, and nobody will chase you for a second one. Most volunteers decide the shape of their next hour after they have given the first.
Out of reasons?
Teach the hour only you can.
One hour of the job you already do, in the shape that fits your week.
