Volunteer Coordinator
You check in on new volunteers after their first sessions and keep track of who has earned a reference.
Community · Remote · A few hours a week
This role supports TEEI's community work.
What you would do
Volunteers who stay get a written reference from us with their hours in it. Somebody has to keep track of who is due one, and somebody has to ask the new ones how it went.
- Check in with volunteers after their first sessions: what worked, what did not, what they need.
- Keep the volunteer list current: who is active, who is paused, who has moved on.
- Draft the references for volunteers who stay, from their recorded hours.
- Pass problems to the programme team the same week, with the facts.
Who we are looking for
- You are organised and you finish the list you started.
- You write clear, friendly English.
- You are comfortable in an admin tool and a spreadsheet.
What you get
You see in detail what makes volunteers stay. That is useful in any job that manages people, and the reference we write you says what you ran.
After you apply
We read it and write back. Going further means a call about the admin tool, then the check-ins for one month of new volunteers.
