Volunteer Web Developer
You build and fix the pages and features people use to learn, mentor and sign up.
Technology · Remote · A few hours a week
This role supports TEEI's technology work.
What you would do
TEEI builds its own website and learning platforms. Every bug a volunteer fixes is a learner who does not get stuck on a sign-up form.
- Take one scoped task at a time: a bug, a page, a small feature.
- Work in TypeScript, on Astro and React Router, running on Cloudflare.
- Write the test that proves it works, and say how you checked it.
- Everything you write is reviewed before it goes live.
Who we are looking for
- You write TypeScript professionally, or at that level.
- You have shipped web work that real people used.
- You take review well and you test your own work.
What you get
Production work on platforms people use every day, and a reference that names what you shipped.
After you apply
We read it and write back. Going further means a call with the team, then one small task of your own.
