Event Coordinator

You make the online events happen on the day.

Operations · Remote · Per event

This role supports TEEI's operations work.

What you would do

An online event runs fine until the speaker cancels, the link is wrong, and nobody sent the reminder. A coordinator is the reason none of that happens.

  • Run one event end to end: date, speakers, registration, reminders, and the day itself.
  • Keep the single document that tells everybody involved what happens when.
  • Work the day. Let people in, hold the time, fix what breaks.
  • Close it out: recording, follow-up, and what to do differently next time.

Who we are looking for

  • You have organised events, online or in person, professionally or not.
  • You stay calm when a speaker cancels two hours before.
  • You write clearly to speakers and to attendees.

Events are taken one at a time. Say yes to the ones you have room for.

What you get

Events that are yours, start to finish, with your own decisions in them. That is hard to get in a job where somebody senior owns the day.

After you apply

You hear back from a person. Taking it further means one upcoming event handed to you, with its date, its speakers and its constraints.
