Senior Advisory Council Member
You advise on where TEEI should be in three years, and say so plainly.
Governance · Remote · A few times a year
This role supports TEEI's governance work.
What you would do
TEEI is small and the decisions in front of it are not: which programmes to grow, which to stop, which funders are worth the year it takes to win them. The council exists so those decisions are not made alone.
- Advise on where the organisation should be in three years, and say so plainly when the answer is uncomfortable.
- Bring judgement to specific choices rather than general encouragement.
- Open doors. Introductions to companies, funders, and people who should know this work exists.
- Meet a few times a year, and be reachable in between when something real comes up.
Who we are looking for
- You have led at a senior level in business, philanthropy or the nonprofit sector.
- You have a network, and you are willing to use it.
- You can read a plan and say where it is weak.
This is an advisory seat rather than a seat on the board.
What you get
You are close to the decisions while they are still open, in an organisation small enough that your judgement actually moves them.
After you apply
You will hear from us directly. The next step is a conversation with our director about where TEEI is and where you think it should go.
Where you can apply from: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Moldova, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Morocco, Egypt, Uganda, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia.
