What you would do
This is a structured course rather than conversation practice: a cohort that runs eight to twelve weeks, with the curriculum already built and handed to you.
- Teach German to a group of adults who need it for work, an apprenticeship, or the paperwork that decides where they get to live.
- Work from the course material we provide, and bend it to the people in front of you.
- Notice who is falling behind and say so early, while it can still be fixed.
- Take the cohort to the end. Learners drop out when teachers do.
A TEEI Language volunteer
“It gives them an opportunity to speak to a native English speaker, and they practice their English and it builds their confidence.”
Charmaine D., Language Partner
Who we are looking for
- You speak German at native or near-native level.
- You have taught adults, in a classroom or online.
- You can commit to a fixed weekly session for the length of one cohort.
Most of our teachers do this beside a full job. Eight weeks you can keep beats a term you abandon halfway.
What you get
A curriculum you do not have to build, and a class you take from nothing to usable German inside one term. The reference we write afterwards names the cohort and the level.
After you apply
You will hear back either way. Taking it further means placing you with the next cohort at your level, handing over the material and the platform access, and fixing the start date.
